A hardcore group of Dolls gathered for the interview and photo shoot to promote their up coming "Bowler Derby" fund raiser.
Now the league is up and running various insurance and administration fees have to be met and several fund raisers and sponsor awareness events are being run, and the increased press coverage of this skyrocketing sport is being noticed by many local businesses.
The local press have been super supportive of the establishment of the Coffs Coast Derby Dolls and have helped to make this a reallity for all involved.

Coffs Coast Derby Dolls’ aim is to provide a fun, empowering and exciting new sport to the women of Coffs Harbour. A chance to have ‘you’ time, and discover something you never thought you’d love.
We welcome ALL women from 18 years onward to come and train with us! You do not have to have any previous experience. We are all very different in tastes, appearance and personality. Which is why Derby is such a great sport! It brings people together. You do not have to compete to join us, some will just be training with us for the pure fun and fitness aspect. Although, if you’ve got a competitive streak, we’d love you on the track!
Things that you WILL need to acquire in order to train and compete in Roller Derby:
Roller Derby Quad Skates - Roller blades etc are unacceptable
Padding – elbows and knees
Helmet
Wrist Guards
Mouth Guard
