Coffs Harbour Derby Dolls was initiated to provide an extreme sporting event for local women, so we encourage individuals to join, or form a team and join.
No matter whether it's the social exercise of training, learning of new skills with motivated companions, or the sheer competitive thrill of the grand parade that is Roller Derby, become involved.
Work your way through the training regime from "Fresh Meat" to "Derby Doll".
Women from 18 years and up are eligible to compete, over 16 can train to a non bouting level with parental consent, as a family sport the chance for the kids to dress up as their favourites and form cheer squads means everyone becomes involved.
Although Roller Derby is a female team sport, blokes are welcome, put your skating skills to use........become a Coach, Referee, Skate Tech, or join the Cheer Squad and try to outdo the Dolls in the Derby Fashion Wars.

Here is your chance to come along find out what the Coffs Coast Derby Dolls family can offer you.
Fresh Meat training for this Intake will begin on Tuesday 19th July at Belingen High School.
If you are interested in joining Coffs Coast Derby Dolls and want to develop your skating skills we have many social and street skating events that you can join in on and be prepared for the next Fresh Meat intake.

Not just the glorious girl gladiators, but all those men who would be coaches, trainers, referees, or like to wear fishnets and short skirts for the cheer squads..

Coffs Coast Derby Dolls - membership:
We have three membership options:
ANNUAL FULL membership - $75 for the full year.
All ANNUAL FULL subscriptions include a high quality screenprinted CCDD league t-shirt!
ANNUAL Non Skating membership $40 for the full year with a $10 discounted T-Shirt (once off cost).
Quarterly FULL membership - $20 for three months.
Quarterly FULL membership with optional discounted league T-shirt at only $10 extra (once off cost).
This membership allows you to try roller derby for a full training block (school term).
All participants – whether skaters or officials – need to be a member of
Skate Australia, as without that you are NOT covered by insurance!
For Fresh Meat, membership costs $35/year.
For Bouting Skaters, membership costs $60/year.
For Non Skating Officials, membership costs $15/year.

Please submit forms with payment to our Treasurer.
Training costs:
Training is $5 per session, payable on the night.
Please bring a bottle of water and whatever skate gear / safety equipment you have so far.
We welcome ALL women from 18 years onward to come and train with us! You do not have to have any previous experience.
We are all very different in tastes, appearance and personality. Which is why Derby is such a great sport! It brings people together.
You do not have to compete to join us, some will just be training with us for the pure fun and fitness aspect. Although, if you’ve got a competitive streak, we’d love you on the track!
Coffs Coast Derby Dolls’ aim is to provide a fun, empowering and exciting new sport to the women of Coffs Harbour. A chance to have ‘you’ time, and discover something you never thought you’d love.

As our members upgrade their gear more good used gear is appearing....so if you have stuff to sell, or are looking for cheap used gear to get your feet rolling, this could be your starting point.
